![]() In comparing the songs, I noticed that the songs are faster, about 0.287% this appears to be a fault with my record player, and makes no noticeable difference in listening unless comparing the tracks directly. Curiously, while the cut of 'Inkoming!' is identical, the cuts of 'Rip Entry' and 'Endolphin Surge' both are significantly shorter than the versions on the Splatoon 2 OST CD, 'Splatune 2'. The album is a selection of three songs off of the base Splatoon 2 OST: 'Inkoming!', 'Rip Entry', and 'Endolphin Surge', all by the in-game band 'Wet Floor'. Based on information from Discogs, it was pressed by GZ Media, with the release number '160121M'. The only known ways for non-press to have gotten ahold of this record was to attend Arlopalooza or Sacramento Gamers' Expo in 2017, where Arlo was giving out copies that he had received from Nintendo, or to win it as a prize during Games Done Quick. ![]() ![]() This record has NEVER been sold or made generally available previously, including, to my knowledge, on the secondhand market. The intention behind this release is obscured in some mystery some say it was meant for European games reviewers, while Discogs lists it as a US release. This is a recording of the 'Splatoon 2 OST Selection' promotional vinyl record.
